I’m planning on getting an electric guitar but I’m not sure of everything that I would need to play it… I know there’s some cables that I’m gonna need and an amp but my brother tells me that I’m gonna need some other stuff too… so can someone please tell me what exactly you need to play the electric guitar?

guessing that ur just starting out...u only need a (distortion) effects pedal if the amp u buy doesnt have a distortion sound in it. so if ur on a budget, squire (low budget fender) and ibenez put together kits; Guitar, Amp (2 channels) *one clean one distortion, the wire that connects them, a strap and a cheap tuner. thats it man. but Please bring a guitar playing buddy with u cause guitar shops can be like used car lots.

I found an awesome custon built Gabe White G-B bender with an E/D bender switch. This is not an advertisement, I just thought it was such a cool guitar that it deserved to be seen. Please look at the pictures and description on the site and tell me what you think-do I have good or bad taste?
