i have been playing for almost two months now and ive noticed i have real problem with hammer ons and pull offs. my hammer ons dont sound right, its hard to explain but it sounds like there is a rest between them. like if there was a hammer on the 2nd fret and then a regular note that are supposed to be consecutive quarter notes it sounds like and eighth note with a rest then the next note. also i have a hard time making the pull offs work on the higher stings. if anyone knows what im takin about is there any way i can fix this or do i just need more practice?

Hey buddy. When I started out hammer-ons and pull-offs were hard for me too. Just practice. You should be able to do it with every finger. Don`t practice with distortion-that`s cheating. Try to learn bends too.

Oh, yeah...you might want to lower the action on your guitar. That could help...
