ok i started out playing sax and the treble clef . now i had a go at the piano (teaching my self) and im having problems with the bass clef. i just cant seem to grasp it. does anyone else have problems or tips?

U mean note reading?
U can use notespellers. Hal Leonard has a rather good series.
U can use the `old` method which always works-memorise.
OR, use these formulas:
Bass Clef : space notes-All Cow Eat Grass
A, C, E, G
or line notes- Good Boy Does Fine Again
G, B, D, F, A

And you will be able to read faster if you know how to move in steps or skips, or read in shapes.
