hello, im learning to play the piano, im getting lessons soon, can anyone give me some tips on what i should do and what songs i should listen to. so if anyone can tell me anything it would really help

Hey there,
I am Jess...i started playing the piano last year!
My advise to others who are going to learn the piano is to PRACTISE, PRACTISE, PRACTISE!!! I practice for about 2-3 hours a day and more on the week-end!!!I love it so much!!!ALSO...you need a fantastic teacher with heaps of experience and who is not to hard on you when you r just begining.
Also exams when you r a little more advanced give you a little bit of a puch and they are great fun!!!

Hi,
Piano is the most beautiful instrument you can play
I now play it for 10 years, and indeed, you`ll have to practise a lot, and with a great teacher you`ll get very far. In the beginning I didn`t practise a lot, but when years went by, I started to love it more and more.
And now when I`m away for more than a week, I`m starting to miss my piano. I practise about 1h a day.
