Greetings everyone.
I was just surfing around the net for some free piano sheet music when I stumbled across this site. And Since I happen to be aspiring to become one of the greatest piano players and intend to do so by teaching myself (selflearning), felt like dropping by and saying hi. Just Kidding.
Actually I just recently started learning to play piano. Well I don't know if you can call it that since all I am doing is searching the net for any tutorials or lessons I can find and struggling on them on my 76 key keyboard. I just wanted ask some veteran piano players if it is possible to learn to play piano that way. And while we are on the topic if you guys know of any good sites like that would you please give me their names/addresses?

Hi

First of all, it's possible, you know.. you can teach yourself, but forget it, the best thing you can do: get a teacher.
You can manage to learn by yourself, but that way you wont have the tips your teacher will give you, the experience he has... He follows every thing you do and he just makes it the best he can, and the results are great.
I have a piano teacher, and my level increases each day. So... You know, you need to know if things are going ok...

I hope it helps.
