Great pianists

Tried to put this one up another place here in 8notes, but did not get any replies. What I simply ask for is if anyone wanna discuss pianists, good or bad... My favourite pianist at the time, and he has been for about six years, is Ivo Pogorelich. He has been away for some years, cancelling all concerts, but I don`t think I`m wrong when I say he is back, and that he still is Pogorelich.
He`s very special. He`s unique and nobody is like him. I can`t still believe why he is not amoung the "100 greatest".
Maybe it`s not the right forum for such lists, but who are the best pianists living today? Any replies?

1. Pogorelich
2. Zimerman
3. Andsnes
4. Volodos

This is what I come up with in a hurry, but of course I`m wanna hear what people think about the great pianists of today. And of course I could fill up with twenty more names, but that makes no sense this night. (It`s 1:13 PM and I`m going to work in some hours)

Apologize for my hopeless english, hope that you got the point of this letters put together...

For me:
1. Horowitz
2. Gould
3. Zimmerman
4. Pollini
Some are dead. Some are not.

When I think about it, G Gould should be in my list, even if he is dead. That man did Bach like noone today and noone will ever play like this again. Gould was a genius, I have nothing more to say...

Isn`t Lang Lang the "last" asian wonderboy after Yundi Li? Think I`ve heard about him. But it is not always the genius children pianists who become great as grown ups..

I think Pogorelich is the best EVER! Next to him I would put Richter. I have every CD produced here in the US and have attended 2 live concerts of his. He`s absolutely electrifying

Too Wayne Trevathan: I absolutely agree with you. Ivo is the Best Pianist ever.

Sure I`ve heard about Leif O. Andsnes. He`s from Norway, so am I. His Liszt is some of the best Liszt i know, and the new recordings with Schubert isn`t bad either..
