Do you know of any classical piano compositions that sound rather sedate/indifferent

For example moonlight sonate 1st movement is too somber, so that won't work out.

Urm....I'm not really sure what you mean....what about 'Clair De Lune' or 'Arabesque No1' by Claude Debussy....they're beautiful pieces.

It may not be exactly what you're looking for, but Grieg's "Arietta" is a quiet and beautiful little piece.
