Can anyone suggest a cool piano piece that is not too hard or too long, not to short or too easy. A piece that is about 2 minutes is long enough. And where can I download it. I am grade 6 in piano on ABRSM standard.(actually i am not up to standard)
I might don`t have the piece of the music, so can you provide me the website where i can download it for free.
I want it bacuse I want to "show-ff"remember, not too long or short or too hard. A piece with 0 - 4 sharps/flats is the maximum I can stand.

You want to show off then play Liszt Etudes. They`re not too long.

Not too long, but it is too, you know, crazy. It is crazy, it is really difficult, I haven`t seen the score yet, but can you tell me where i can see the score? I just know that most of the pieces written by liszt are difficult, and etudes? needless to say.

You can see the scores here.

If those are too crazy then maybe Chopin Etudes? Rach Preludes? Chopin Polonaises? Beethoven Sonatas?

Definitely go with Mozart, my opinion anyway, if your friends or whoever don`t play the piano, or don`t play well, it won`t take much to impress them. Mozart is my personal favorite, if you enjoy playing, I know a piece that once you learn(and it`s not soo hard)you won`t stop playing it for a long time. I played just a page of it for one of my friends, and she insisted I keep playing, and she`s been playing the piano for 3 years. The names Rondo in D Major. Excellent. If you want the sheet music for it, e-mail me at saintom@wtvl.net.

I`ve got a really easy one that sounds pretty hard, Grieg`s March of the Dwarfs, it`s a hoot.

if u really want a show off piece ht`t could also be a killer competition piece (i should cause i did it ) is a Heitor Villa-Lobos piece, "O Chicote de Diabhino" or translated the devils whil, it is a complicated piece specialy when u hit 2nd pg, it`s a litle over 2 min but it`s incredible if u can do it. if u want i could p[ossibly scan u a pg from it so u can see, there are sharps but nothin to terribly bad

...I dunno what grade 6 is. So many different grading systems, screw it.

if i rememeber correctly, that suggested piece by villa-lobos is probably too hard for him, instead he should try "Polichinelle" (O Polichinelo) by the same composer.. barely even a minute long, it was one of Rubenstein`s favourite encores, never failing to bring the house down.. its surprisingly easy too..
