Hello all. After plenty leg (and finger!) work in an effort to find a grand piano that I liked I think I have found what seems to quite a good instrument - the Ritmuller 183R1 by Pearl River. This I compared to Lothar Schell, Yamaha, Kawai, Samick and even the baby grand Steinway (the latter they say, are only worth the money if produced around World War II), and of course the Steinway brethren, the Boston. I have found the Ritmuller to have an excellent touch ... good action, responsive, and a bright voice, excellent base and bell trebbles, which up to now I had admired the Yamaha for. Has anyone had any experience with the Ritmuller?
