After years and years, I get to finally take lessons. And the teacher called me today to make lesson dates. I am so excited!!!!

Why years and years? Is this a special teacher of some kind? Lol, I could have given you lessons...

xD, well let's just say I'm not the favorite one in the family. That would be cool, but how could you give me lessons? Anyways, my parents take forever in doing things so I had to do it myself.

i haven't played for 10 years and only just started playing again two and a half months ago.

me..... i play piano as one of main main instruments....(although i get irritated by it.....) i have this AMAZING piano teacher named Ms. Nancy Haywood and my word is she THE BEST!!!!!!! (sorry not the best but good.....) i hated working with her becuase she worked me to hard but i definitly thank her.... i have learned so much in two years and have now been invited to a international comepition......

I have been playing piano for some eight-and-three-quarters years and I take lessons from a family friend. She used to play in a band and is currently writing her own music for me to learn. I am glad that you got a teacher finally, and I hope you excel with the piano. I have a quick question for you (and anyone else who want to get in on it): Have you heard Amy Lee of Evanescence play the piano? I think she is the best piano player that I've heard (that's my opinion). I went to an Evanescence concert recently and I was blown away by Amy Lee's playing!! From even the first time I heawrd her play, I was so blown away that I started learning their pieces. So, my question stands: Have you heard Amy Lee of Evanescence play the piano?

I love Amy Lee! She is a really good piano player. I wish I could go see Evanecsence in concert...
