I can compose classical music at anytime!! I prefer composing songs for piano, but I have a problem. My memory is kind of bad, and using a tape recorder, is just awkward for me!! Does anyone know a way that they can help me get my songs on the piano? I would really appreciate it!! THANK YOU!!
Love,
Beevin

Keep a pencil and some blank sheet music with you whenever you sit at the piano. Every time you have an idea, write it down. If you develop it enough to where it becomes a full-length piece of music, and you like it, I would suggest using Finale (or some other music writing program) to write it so it looks neat and professional.
I have pages full of ideas, but only one real piece of music right now... And even that I don't like too much. :P
Yeah, either write it down, or you can connect a Midi Keyboard to a computer, if you have a Music Notation program. (It's like a program that lets you write out music no there, or play something on your keyboard, and it'll show up on there.) Though most Music Notation Programs are expensive. I've yet to find a good free one.
Finale is a great program. You can download it for free off of the website. It doesn't have features you would get if you bought the whole thing (for example, you're limited as to how many instrument and voices you can have), but I've been using it and it works fine. Of course, I'm not a professional musician, so I wouldn't realize what it's lacking.
