hi
does anyone know how to get really good hand positioning? when i playing chords or notes that are a 6-9 apart my hand goes and looks like a spider. that's what everyone's says

It doesn't matter how your hands look (well, you want at least some grace and elegance) as long as the positions aren't causing physical discomfort. I've read that improper technique can cause pain and even prevent you from playing.
I guess the only way to not have hands that look like a spider is to have really big hands. It doesn't matter what you hands look like as long as the chord is right.
depends what being played on the left hand i may take the bottom note and play it with the left hand and the rest with the right hand depending how big the spread is.
