Hello,

I have a Wurlitzer baby grand piano. Some of the keys, when pressed and released, the damper stays up, so it doesn't dampen (this is without any of the peddles pressed). Does anybody know why this keeps happening to more and more keys? Should I call a piano tuner or Wurlitzer?

Thanks.

sounds like it may need a lil oil to stop it sticking.

My piano is collard and collard 132 years old and getting re conditiond only thing needing done on it is Dampers replaced and the touch lightend a bit and it brillaint condition for 132 years old its a fab piano.

so yes as i was saying get your piano tuner to have a lil look at it might be as simple and neeing a lil oil.
