Hi there, I was wondering if anyone had some tips on how I can start learning to play the piano, I dont really know where to go without having to pay a lot of money, and i was also wondering if I could teach myself, and what I use to learn on that wont kill my wallet. Any help would be appreciated.

Hmmmm.... I guess try looking up stuff on the internet. You can find sites about piano and things that could help teach you. Buy beginners books...I guess you would concider private piano lessons too expensive? I pay 15 for 30 min. I know.. lol I think you can teach yourself as long as you have the determination.. some helpful books.. and/or websites! Check out mine! Won`t really help you learn to play but its kinda cool anyway. Don`t laugh at my webmastering skills :P www.geocities.com/webdisgnr101/index.html

Hi H.!
I`d search the web for any piano help, go to www.ask.com and type in your key word e.g: Piano/piano lessons
What I did to start off, was to go to car boot sales and look for any cheap little key boards, after a good look I managed to find one for just £1.00! I started off on that, you could get a m8 to teach you or a family member who can play! or check out free piano lessons on this web site, it teaches you how to play the blues which makes your playing sound proffesional and it isn`t even that hard!
