hello,
I'm curious whether somebody has the sheet of Eighteenth Variation with original reduction to orch. and piano (http://gfxc.smpgfx.com/Look-Inside/large/4958200_01.jpg). it looks better than Aaronson's or Schultz' (http://www.musicnotes.com/sheetmusic/mtd.asp?ppn=mn0064206) version although I watched only its first page.
maybe the original score? prelude in g minor, op. 23 sounds great, perhaps there's a less simplified version of this Variation, too.

thanks a lot,
merghe

hi Zoom,
thanks for the link. the registration works. the Paganini score (for 2 piano) can be download on http://www.pianopublicdomain.com/downloads/composer/27 although it cost 1 credit -)

by the way, I've just noticed that the other Rachmaninoff topics are unfortunately closed. I need fingering for a tricky part of the march theme (at the end of the 18th beat, left hand: <f bf d>8 <f bf d>16 e f g), I guess a speedy <532> 1 2 1 or <531> 2 1 2, because I think the tempo is too fast for e with 3. The fingering of the next chord in the 19th beat can be <531> or <532> depending on the solution of the 18th beat.
