I`ve played the piano for a few years now, and I really don`t know what songs I should play. I`m bored by songs very fast, and I don`t know much about classical music.
I`ve played Moonlight Sonata, The Heart Asks Pleasure First (from The Piano) and La Dispute (from Amelie)
and I want to try something from that level, and something that sounds like one of these pieces.
I don`t care if it`s hard to play, as long as it`s not very complicated, because reading notes is not my best part of playing the piano.
Does anyone has an idea of what I should play?

Thanks a lot...

Chopin`s Ballades are very beautiful, not very hard either. My favorite is No. 4 and No. 1. No. 3 is good, but not my type. No. 2 sounds like Liszt on steroids so that`s not my type either.

Quit piano? You must be high or something.

Honestly,You are quite a waste of cyberspace. If you don`t have something...anything positive or intellectual to say about making music, please leave and go practice. Maybe you`ll be a real musician and a better person some day.

As for new pieces...how about some Schumann? Abegg or some movements from Carnival? they are really cute.

oh oh oh

As suggested by a friend, some Mendelssohn`s Songs Without Words would be fun to play too.
