I`m sorry but not only would I never call nightwish gothic music, while it is influenced by music of the gothic period, but I would also NEVER call them a cliche. Nightwish is so far beyond all your crappy pop music it hurts... Besides, how many bands do you know of who have world class opera singers? Besides, people who compare Nightwish to bands like WT and Evanescence are fcking stupid... they are very different... not to mention there is a HUGE skill difference between NW and the other 2 sh1tty pop trash bands aforementioned.
p.s. If you wanna talk like you know sh1t about metal of ANY form, come to UCV or HDPvidz because we know more than you, and always will.

Second p.s. ANYONE BASING THEIR JUDGEMENT OF NIGHTWISH ON THE SONG "WISH I HAD AN ANGEL" IS FCKING STUPID, YOU DON`T KNOW SH1T!

And OMG I didn`t see Greeny`s message. No sir it is YOU who is wrong, operatic metal is a term noobs made up to sound smart. "Operatic Metal" is in fact a branch of PROGRESSIVE Metal... noob... and is IN NO WAY RELATED TO POWER METAL!!!!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NooNooNoob...

Oh my godness! Powermetal is just the same like progressive metal. Have you ever heard of Dreamtheater? It`s just the same music like Nightwish. POWERMETAL. NOT pop-gothic. I`m coming from Germany, so in my message could be lots of mistakes. But Nightwish is the Best, it`s perfect. If you have notes from "Swanheart" which I can play with the flute, please e-mail me. Thx.

Greetings to everyone!

Guys, have you ever saw traditional sheets for Swanheart in the Web? I ask that way cause my girlfriend is pianist and needs them, but dropping her in front of PC with tab file opened is cruelty well, she is barely able to use Google, that is. If any of you have those sheets, or know links to them - please reply, I`d be grateful!

Yeah... Nightwish is my favorite back and has been so for 6 years. I don`t label them because they are original. nd of arguement. They are a combination of many forms. But this topic was started for sheet music which I would sincerely enjoy aquiring it. So if anyone here with a brain who isn`t too busy with their obsessive-compulsive stereotyping fetish to send send me osme it would be much appreciated.
