First of all, the definition of Gothic Rock - Gothic Rock its usualy Metal combined with Opera and when i say opera i say sopranos. This is what Nightwish and Therion are, two of the best representatives of the Gothic wave. They are not Pop or Black or anything, Nightwish its Gothic Rock by definition! Thanks for the link, i was realy searching for long time for the sheet of 'Over the hills and far away' wich i think it has one of the best synth parts of all times.

Well.., did some more research, maybe they are not so gothic as i thought. Symphonic Metal or a subgenre of the Symphonic Metal called Opera Metal, that is their style. Gothic Rock is something else. I also found out that unfortunely they fired the vocalist Tarja Turunen and now they search for a new soprano and a new album will probably be released only next year .
