i`ve been working on Rach 3 for the past month, and I`m on my way into intermezzo. now i can play the first part reasonably well (gladly), and i want to know what it sounds like with orchestra (of course, i have the recordings by horowitz....etc). since i don`t have my own private orchestra to perform for me, the only way is to get the recording of orchestra part only. does anyone know where I can find one?

err not so good idea to play with a recording. Find a friend to play the orchestra reduction part...if you want to keep your own interpretation.

On the internet somewhere I found some karaoke-style MIDI. The site had Rach 3, Grieg, lots of other popular concerti.

I`m a big fan of Rach, this is my favorite. After learning piano for quite a while, I decided to try this one, and I just got the score. I have a question. I`m not sure about which one of hands I should use in certain circumstaces because there are no fingerings printed on it. It`s so confusing....

the first couple pages with all the running notes? if the stems are facing down, then left hand. Vice versa.

Music Minus one (www.musicminusone.com) gives an orchestral recording without the piano. They sell loads of piano concertos which are all good fun. You should be able to find MMO music in most good music shops.
