I already own an acoustic-electric Epiphone guitar, but I want a full on electric. I like alternative rock, classical rock, and punk grunge like Green Day. (well guess that's along the lines of alternative but whatev's) What is the best kind of electric guitar for that kind of music? My price range of guitar;s is up to 200 dollars. Then I want an amp. Can I get a relatively cheap amp with good distortion on it or do I need a distortion pedal. You see I don't really understand all of that. I want some good distortion. My total price price range of stuff (guitar amp and pedal thing) is possibly up to 350 USD. If I could get some answers that would be awesomes. Thx!
