Is there any point writing grade exams? I finished my rachmaninov, liszt, chopin etude books (and preludes). Somebody said it`ll help me with entrance to good unversities when I pass out of school. What is the highest grade I can do? only for piano playing.

Hmmm...Writing grades...Are u talking about theory? Grade 5 is the minimum grade for theory...I dun think there`s a maximum grade...U can like complete yr practical/theory(graded diplomas) LRSM/LMUS theory, and proceed to FRSM?FMUS theory, and then like if still interested...go on to a DMUS...HMUS...So I dun think there`s a limit/max grade...Likewise for degree...BMus BS Masters, Doctarate, etc. But actually theory is really imp. It enlightens u on lots of things that probably only through playing will not... I dun know if this`s what u`re asking about. But I hope it helps. Thank You.
