I wanna know who the best player is here, what more can I say.

I`m probably not the best, but maybe for my age, I finished grade 8 last year when I was 7.

as if. bs. you cant have finished grade 8 when you were 7 becuz thats impossible unless you started when you were 0 months old or skipped grades. Even IF you finished grade 8 when you were 7 i doubt you got really good grades. You cant express something when your 7 years old. dont lie.

oh yea and whats more is i dont believe someone whos 8 could use the internet properly to even reply on this forum and know what to do, let alone spell everything.

I think that if you had talent, and an EXCEPTIONAL teacher, then it might be possible to do your grade 8 by age 7. But unlikely. And your playing wouldn`t have the emotional depth of an older player.

No, he only threatens to shut it down when people do disgusting, pointless threads that have nothing to do with music. I can`t blame him, either, they have been getting really bad lately.

It`s a group of people in the percussion forum. Have you ever been in there? It`s the worst forum by far. But you`re right, I don`t think the moderator will shut us down just for this sort of thing. I was just over reacting, I suppose.

I`m 15 Years old and I`ve been playing the piano now for about a year or so. I definitley don`t think I`m the best by any means. i Am self taught and I can play things like Chopin`s Heroic polonaise and a few of his nocturnes as well as maple leaf rag adn a few other things. I feel however that I may be good with lessons. I hope so `cause I love playing the piano....

ok guys, i mean this in the nicest of ways but this is such a dumb argument. there really is no way of saying who is the best.
i have played in many competions when i was younger and always did fairly well, but that doesnt mean i am the best, it just means i played in a way that appealed to those judges. some people will say that thechnique is the most important thing, others will say that feeling the soul of the music is better, but as long as we all play in a way that reflects us there can be no way of saying who is better.
so anyway, that sounded super corny but i hope u all get my point.

Well, I am the world`s 3rd greatest clarinettist.
No. 1 is my teacher
No. 2 is one of my friends
And everyone else who WAS better is no longer a clarinettist; they got disqualified for being a better clarinettist than me without being either of those 2 people.
