Hey, I`m 37 and I`ve been playing piano for around 32 years. I`ve played heaps of pieces and they`ve all been really easy for me and I`m getting bored. I was wondering if anyone knew what the hardest piece in the world is, and if they did, where I could get a copy of it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Actually, it`s really hard to find the hardest piece. If you say song A is hard, someone could just compose song B and make it harder. Similarly, if you say Rach 3 is hard, I could go into Finale for two minutes and compose something harder (just click the mouse randomly.) So there is no real "hardest piece."

Yeah well I meant hardest song that actually sounds good, of course you could put random demisemiquavers everywhere and triplets in the left hand and just say there you go but you knew what I meant.

oh and by the way harvey is still an ass but he`s right what is hard for one can be a breeze for others.i for instance find it more difficult to play a six part invention from bach than a big romantic piece from rachmaninov.the best would be to have both .

its the revolutionary etude by chopin, my piano teacher was telling me that she played that when she was in a conservatory when she first started out, i doubt it would be that difficult of a man with 32 years of piano experience.

Flight of the bumblee-bee isn`t that hard
nor Chopin fantasia impromptu op66.
try Scriabin`s Etude in D# minot op 8 #12
that`s really hard.
it took me about a month solid to get that.
revolutionary etude is pretty hard too, but not as hard.
