I have a few years background of noodling on a piano but I wouldn't say I'm a pianist. I know enough to compose scores using a midi keyboard but I can't really play anything.

Should I start out like most people do and learn classical piano first and transition to jazz or is there a course out there that will let me jump straight to jazz piano?
