Can anyone give me any tips on the 3rd movement of the sonata?

I have listened to recordings of it, and it sounds way to fast.

On top of that, my sheet music does not have fingerings.

What are the fingerings for the first few measures?

Help would be appreciated.

hey... um i just finished learning that piece.... its not as hard as i thought it would be.... the reason it doesnt give you fingering for it is because usually in that adsvanced of pieces... you usually can fend for your self....

and in pretty much all classical music.sheets,,,,they never put the fingering... its usually because it varies... like for instance if you have really smailll hands you might have to cross over and stuff alot but if you have fairly larg hands you wouldnt.... classical music is usually not that easy so you have to use your own fingering to make it suit your ablity, style, techniques and well how big your hands are..... this probly isnt much help to you.....

Some recordings are fast, some are slooooow, so it`s really left up to you how fast to take it. It sounds effective both ways. Take it slow and it will still sound good, and it will give you a chance to get your fingers in place

Start slow, and work out the fingering for yourself. If your really having trouble buy the Alfred Piano edition, that has SOME fingering. By the way, I tried to learn a bit of Moonlight Sonata 3, and I can easily play the first 20 or so measures. However I realized I get a little tired after that so I`d have to work really hard to build my stamina to play the whole freakin thing. (I`m better now but I`ve put Moonlight SOnata away for the time being)What makes it really hard is it`s length (like 7 minutes of that stuff). Even though it`s fast, you can practice that to get good at it. So have fun, and work hard to build up your endurance.
