What`s the best (in your opinion) Gothic/Haunting/Mysterious/Threatening sounding piano piece out there? I`ve been looking for songs that sound haunting and threatening at times, not the warm, friendly kind. Examples include the ever so famous beethoven "deh deh deh dhun", The beginning of Rhapsody on Paganinni, Croatian Rhapsody etc.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

You`ve mentioned the Croation Rhapsody, do you know where to get the sheet music for it?

I think The Rach 3 is quite mysterious... The first part is haunting... Also, if you happen to hear the song "Rinse" from Vanessa Carlton`s first album then I think it would also qualify as "haunting" (well the lyrics dont quite give it its haunting character but raather, the piano solos scattered on the song)
