i don`t have perfect pitch. My first piano teacher had it. At the time i wasn`t too serious. I moved teachers a long time ago.

Once i tested him and he got every note but i still am curious about the speed which they can know the notes and if they can hear and separate if two notes are played at the same time.

well if someone plays a note i usually can identify, but its more like... when someone sings something for me or im tryin to copy a song or find a harmony, i can find it straight off

i play by ear and its heaps of fun

I think I have almost-perfect pitch.

When I sing or think music in my head, it`s usually in the right key.
I heard Yo-Yo Ma mess up.
I can actually hear a difference between natural and equal temperament.
I can play by ear, some simple things.
Vibrato sucks.

I can also do that - my lawn mower has the sound of an a. The bell on my bike is, strangely enough, a g sharp.

Hmm, finding intervals isn`t too difficult. I find that since i play french horn, i`ve been forced to feel notes, although it`s not very helpful my instrument is in the key of F.

But as long as you can have a single note ingrained into your head (the more, the better), you can pretty much pick up anything.

For fun, i like to write music on the backs of paper at school, then go home to see how accurate i was to what i wanted in my head.

But aside from that, Perfect Pitch is acquired, not given at birth, so anybody can have perfect pitch really.
