Hey fellow pianists... just wanted to know what`s THE best piano playing moment you`ve ever had... you know, when you thought the whole world just loved you and you were just the best...mine`s when I played Tchaikovsky`s Piano Concerto No. 1 with my high school orch last week... felt like a star and everything

Ok mine`s not that great but I`m joining the Peabody institue in a few weeks so I`m guessing I`ll get a few afer that. Since my recitals are never that great (For my last one I did Rondo Alla Turca, and the really sad part is, I was head and shoulders above everyone else!) my best time was when I got to impress all the girls at a buddy`s pool party by sitting down and playing the piano (flex and play the piano at the same time for the chicks!!)

High school orchestra...playing Tchaikovsky 1??? That`s really something. Just picturing it makes me laugh (partly because some high school orchestras around my area can`t even tune themselves, and the Tchaikovsky 1 isn`t the easiest song ever.)
