I can`t stand playing it!!! It`s a beautiful peice,
but it`s SO slow!!!

Its an awsome piece to play, you have to add you true feeling into the piece. Its not too slow its really nice.

It sounds beautiful, but it requires emotion and a lot of patience to play well.

I totally agree. I mean, I thought everybody knew that a slow tempo is automatically equated with horrible music. Sarcasm aside, most people play it way too slowly, and I`m guessing you`re among them. Find a quality recording by a decent pianist and hear what it`s supposed to sound like. Oh, and did you know that there is a third movement?

You completely missed my point. I said that most pianists play it TOO slowly, and that you should play it FAST instead. Beethoven marked it Adagio, which is between Largo and Andante. Slow, but not TOO slow. Don`t play it fast...unless you enjoy trampling on masterpieces.

OOPS!!! I mean, I have PLAYED IT fast!!!

Instead of "Adagio Sostenuto", I played it as "Prestissimo" Also the 3rd movement.

I`m sure Beethoven would be very proud. Oops! I meant "rolling in his grave."
