I think everyone should give Rachmaninoff`s 1st concerto another listen. I`ve played the 1st and the 3rd, and have heard innumerable recordings and performances. But playing them is different, and even though the 3rd is so highly esteemed, I somehow prefer the 1st. Check it out.
