What are your ambitions? How far do you want to take the piano? I want to be able to play some of my favourite pieces by a variety of different composers, but then i want to compose my own. Just now i lack the ability to create what i really want, but in a few years time i hope to start really focusing on composing pieces myself.

I have no idea. I feel like I live for music and I really would like to go pro with music, but it had become second priority now.

Of course I haven`t found something I like more than music.
I just felt like it would be easier to do the best I can in education right now, and once I`m all done and I have a job I like, I could resume my hopeless goal to be like Horowitz.

Hi there! For a start I would really love to play pieces like Rimsky`s "Flight of the Bumble-bee", "Moonlight Sonata 3rd Movement", "Fantaisia Impromptu Op66" and some Etudes (Revolutionary, Butterfly, Black Key) and Concertos (Grieg in A Minor, Rachaminoff`s #1) that I have a liking for.
However, like Harvey, I still have to balance things out. Right now I`m pursuing my "O" Level Cerfiticate and am taking 9 subjects, out of which 3 of them are Pure Sciences (Physics, Biology and Chemistry). On top of that, I have the responsibility of carrying out my duties as a Head Prefect of my school.
So I guess I`m in a "Jack of all trades, Master of none" situation! for now! Fortunately, my parents` promised a Piano Teacher for me after my International Exams. After that, I`ll have to see how it goes but I really do hope that I can be a really good pianist some day.

Harvey spends too much times in this useless site, his name is all over the place.how can he expect do something in life stuck to this speudo-reality...that goes for you too DW!!!as for aims and goals; the chaos in constant morphology will define where i will end up:i have a sense of harmony and melodic conception worthy of the great masters,a clear predisposition for improvising and playing the piano, and a geat deal of suffering to express.laugh all you want but with my friends constance and regularity;i can only be the one after Rachmaninov.

Jon-o - what do you mean your `friends constance`? What is a constance?
