...............damnation i am not real good at the english music words (my music education being a french one)
crotchet was (i thought) quaver (know i know whats what )
and triplet was you know 3 quavers with a little 3
so do you now understand my prob.
if you still don`t go to music-scores.com
look up Liszts Consolation N°3 and you will get what i am getting at...
know i am really hoping you understand and can help me

Another example apart from lizst`s consolation is debussy`s abaresque, I think it is, it is a popular piece and you have to fit in the two against three thing, I easily picked this technique, if you like, up, you just have to play untill it clicks in your head, there is no difficulty to it at all.

Ok, this is the way I did it, I`ll spell it out step by step for you. If you`re left handed reverse the r and l
Make 12 boxes all in a row, horizontally.
Put an r in the 1st, 4th, 7th, and 10th
Put an l in the 1st, 5th, and 9th
Tap your foot/metronome/whatever at a slow tempo. At each tap move onto another square. Whenever a square has an r in it tap your right hand. Whenever it has an l tap your left. Eventually speed up the tempo. Once you get to a certain point stop counting the sqaures and just feel the 3 on 4 rythmn. I hope that helped.
