I too have been looking for the piano music from the Sims, specifically I have been looking for "build3", from the build mode (obviously). I once emailed the makers of the Sims about this and even said I`d be willing to pay for it, I just really loved and wanted it. I even just asked for the name of the artist. No reply, though. If anyone hears or knows of somewhere to obtain these, please email me! Good luck to the others out there :`(

the song files are in the folder for the sims.
go to my computer, then the drive it`s on (i.e. C) then go to EA games, then sims 2, then TSData, then res, then sound. they SHOULD be playable by windows media player, but they`re not the normal type, they play for me.

But i cannot find any of the piano songs, the only one i recognise is Moonlight sonata, by beethoven. i cant find any others.

well, i dont know where you can find all the piano music, but i can recall two of them, which are two chopin waltzes, and the `minuet` from the little notebook. just look up the chopin waltzes. one is the grand valse brilliante (op.18?) and the minute waltz. check it up! they`re beautiful.

those pieces are created by composers for the game company and are probably not released if you went to their website or wrote to the company they could probably send them to you.

I tried doing this but EA`s technical support system blows. It`s impossible to actually directly ask EA a general question about a game.

Hey all, I saw yall talkin about the sims music. I have been sifting through build 1 and build 3, and playing by ear. I am also trying to get it to sheet music. whoever was looking for the build 3 music, it is an extremely simple song, that simply goes through variations starting in G1, G5, G8, and then C1, C5, C8, then to F1, F5, F8. This will give you the basic bass line to the begining of the song. That is on the octave below middle. For build 1, start with E, E5, E5, (E,B,B) (repeat) Then to C#, A, A, then D, A, A.
This is the basic base line to build 1, if you get this down well, try playing just the simple bass line along with the song from the computer, to match up speed and tones. Then the composer starts doing many variations in the scale of A major. They are both extremely easy to learn, and take the time to figure the bass line out on your piano, cause its worth it. When I figured it out, I called my self an idiot because they sounded so complex and difficult to learn, and here its just this simple song. Please write back if anyone needs more specific help on getting started or has figured out any more of the song. I can still only play about the first minute of each song, as the rapidly change in scales, bass lines, and variation paterns. Please write back with results, thanks -Chris

Wow, lol, I know this is like the third time posting now, put you guys have got me hooked, just knowning theres other people out there wondering what these songs are all about. I have slowed the song down 8 semitones, 1 octave, so it is also a lot slower, and i will pick away at it by ear, and get the complete sheet music avaible.

Chris, you are my hero! I am so glad to hear of others passionate about off-mainstream music. Some of the best music I hear is in the background of commercials and video games, but impossible to find. I will definitely email you for any help you can give.
