Mine has gotta be "They Can`t Take That Away From Me" by George Gershwin, closely followed by "Yesterday" by the Beatles.

Um... Aljosa Jurinic... I don`t see how you can call "Fur Elise" a piece of crap. It`s very beautiful... So what if it isn`t complicated like "Fantasie Impromptu"?
And maybe that person hasn`t played many things yet...
As for my favourite...
Alright, I haven`t FINISHED it yet, but I`m absolutely in love with th piece I`m learning right now, which is Rachmaninov`s "Prelude in G minor".... Gorgeous.

Aljosa,
LOL I`m from Illinios and not everyone here is super good at playing the piano, I`m only an intermediate pianist and I`m also limited since I only have a keyboard. There`s a lot of pieces I`d love to learn but I don`t have all the keys and can`t afford a "real piano."

Because the reason classical music is still around is because it`s beautiful, and nothing can change that, not even time.
Sure, jazz is brilliant, I`m not going to start arguing with you, but classical music is (damn, my English vocabulary is short sometimes) INCREDIBLE. Haven`t you ever listened to something that makes your heart race, that makes you dream of something wonderful? If not, that means that:
a) You don`t like music very much (after all, it`s a matter of taste
or
b) You haven`t listened to classical much
c) you`ve listened to the wrong things (e.g. I don`t like Bach much no matter what I do (it`s a matter of taste again), but I find that the composers that lived in the 19th century are awesome).
So what kind of classical music do you listen to? I want to know why you don`t like it...
