Well I`ve played many songs over the years, And i`ve had many favorites.. Currently i`m playing one of the many Menuets this one is by Christian Petzold.. Its small but I really like it... I also like Washignton St. Station its a Jazz Song..

it`s cool that you have played Fantasie Impromptu
when you were 11, I have been playing it when I was about 18 ...

Now, im not saying anything against listening to classical music. Im a big fan of Debussy and Beethoven but i just find jazz piano is a lot funner 2 play. You are right about classical being beautiful but i just get this buzz from playing jazz piano which i dont seem to get from playing classical.

I agree somwhat Rosie, Jazz is very fun to play I`ve played many different Genre`s of music, but when I play a beautiful classical songs theres just somthing about it... You seem like your prolly a jazzy person, I myself i`m more a dark, sad type person...

My favorite classical piece that i played is "Fur Elise". My favorite popular songs is "piano man" by billy joel, "i write th songs" by barry manilow and "don`t let the sun go down on me" by elton john

You asked what I play now...
well, I`m 13 and I play B minor scherzo and G minor Balade by Chopin, then Sonata op.31 no.2 by Beethoven, Chopin`s etudes op. 10, no. 1, 9, 4, 11, and op. 24, no. 10, 11, 12. And I play a lot of Bach`s Preludes and Fugas.

from Opus 90, (my favorite) : impromptus in A-Flat, in G-Flat magor, in E flat...
they are just gorgeous !
(so are impromptus from the opus 142 btw...)

well i`m a violinist, but i love Paganini`s Caprice no. 24  It`s hard as crap to play....
and for you piano people Rachmaninoff`s Piano Concerto No. 1, "Rhapsody on a theme by Paganini" is basically the same piece.

no its not easy at all but i started in 3 grade and i started piano in 2 grade violin is one of the most challenging instruments on the earth not including the one stringing violin which i hear is a very rare talent if you can learn to play it
