I`ve been playing drums for a while and I`m thinking about getting my own drumset. I`m wondering if electric drumsets are worth their "fakeness" because they`re cheap-....er.

electrics are more expensive
i prefer non electric, but if electric is the way u wanna go, then go for it, all drummer have their own opinions and styles. just go to a music store that has display drumsets, and try em both, see wat feels better

I think you should have both. If I were to get one it'd be just for when I can't practice because my parents are asleep or something. Otherwise, I would go acoustic, because you can get a ton more sounds out of the drum. (rim shot/clicks, tips of sticks, control of dynamics, etc.)
