If youb want real good professional help, most music stores or guitar centers have people that offer drum lessons for a pretty penny. I think that you can be just as effective though if you watch a bunch of drum clinics and practice what you learn alot. It also wouldn't hurt to download some free sheet music and practice as much as you can. The key to progress is through yourself and progress, the teacher just gives you the knowledge. And opens the door. I thinkyou can open your own door and find all of the information you want to formulate your own style of drumming, rather than being taught by a single instructor. Instructors tend to put emphasis on parts they find important so you ten to become their apprentice. I find it much better to get different pieces from different drummers here and there and teach yourself. Good luck.
