I want to get a friend of mine a drum kit for christmas. However, I have no knowledge of drums whatsoever. He is an experienced drummer, but has gotten away from playing since he sold his drums about 5 years ago. Can anyone recommend a good brand of drums? Or tell me what qualities I should look for in a drum kit?

go 2 gear 4 music, thats where i got mine from and its pretty good kit 4 really cheap, even cheaper than second hand and its brand new

if hes experienced hes not gonna want a beginner kit
you could go for an intermedit kit
