I am a mother of a 7th grade drummer, and we would like to know where we could get the sheet music for this movie? If any one could help it would be greatly appreciated! If you already have it written out, please email it to me, or email me and I can give you my fax number.
To some of you who don`t like the movie, You might think that it wasn`t a good movie, but to some (like my son) I think that it teaches them to be passionate about what they love to do, and the more passionate you are about what ever you choose the more satisfaction you get out of it. JMO

mk, all of you who think DRUMLINE`s music and drummers were awesome... first of all, the dude couldn`t read music. Not good. Not a good player to model yourself after. Second, the movie is TOTALLY inaccurate. When they print the music off of the computer and they`re like, "Whoa, this is freakin sweet", it`s got a ton of sharps, flats, and naturals on FRIGGIN SNARE DRUM MUSIC. THAT should set off little red flags right there, that this movie is probably just a ton of hollywood crap (which it was) and not accurate at all. Their bass drums couldn`t play unison`s together for pete`s sake. Why would you want to be a part of a drumline like that, or model yourself as a player after players like that?

Come on guys that stuff was easy. All you had to do was listen to it a play it. I learned the last candence from A&T in the movie when i was in the 5th grade. Now i`m in the 8th grade on the high school band, playing the tenors (Quads) man...... and women.

When the Morris Brown College battles for the first time with AT&T, they play a very familiar and old song. Can anyone tell me what is that song`s name?

Why does everyone want to play that fake crap off drumline? It doesnt take much talent to play that kind of "groovy" stuff. In my opinion people should be learning rudimental cadences that have a groove rather than snares just hitting on 2 and 4.

I thought the drumline was A & T, not UNT. I know UNT is an amazing school. Texas in general, not just UNT, produces some great percussionists. I myself am an intended music education major in college with an emphasis in percussion. So I do know my facts about schools, as I`ve been searching, writing essays and apps, etc. for about the past five months. Again, I thought the DRumline was the A & T drumline.
If you weren`t even talking to me, then ignore this post.

Man, like said in past entrys, you all need to stop hatin I mean sure we all know that Nick Cannon is a fake and in real life he could maybe play the beginning music at graduation. But other than a few of the people from A&T the rest of the bands were real marching bands such as Morris Brown, that is their real marching band and half of the drummers from A&T are already in drumlines on the Cavys and other professional corps. Half of you are talking this way because you can`t paly nearlie half as well and I do admit that I can`t either. But either way other than half of A&T you have to give all the other bands props because they`re real.
