That is wonderful. Good for you! Drum corps will change you forever. I think you will like it at Magic, if that is the way you go. It is MUCH different than when I was there. They are one of the wealthiest Corps now that they were bought by some Northern Sr. Corps.

DCI rocks. A couple of the people in my band have actually participated in the Corps (Kihwanis[sp?] Kalvaliers), and they had one hell of a time. Also, our band director is big fan, and this years show was based on the Velvet Knights. Confused the audience, but if you actually knew what was going on, it was fairly entertaining.

cavies are cool and i think theyre one of the CORPS in the organization BUT theyre snareline isnt. in acuality the Cadets` snareline is the best. seeing that they have one the most percussion awards.

yah drum core is awesome!!! i would have to say that the cavaliers are my fav but the blue devils come in at a very tight second. i`m a senior and i`ve been my high school drumline section leader for three years. i`ve played in the pit, marched top bass, and snare for four years. i would give anything to be in a core. i have a bud who is in the core up in seattle. hes awesome and a percussion freak like me.
