i read your problem Aj9090, and all i have to say its that dont worry how it sounds at first, and dont worry how loud it is, but consider your neighbors. What i mean is that just keep going without worries, none is expert as soon as started. AND try easy music at first, and try it slowly, then speed up and so on. Well, good luck!

hey, i read your problem, and I'm a kit player but I rekn the best way to learn if your not prepared to take proper lessons is probably cyber lessons I know theres lots on kit, and I've seen snare, but I bet theres some stuff on quads, so I think you should look into just googling it.
