Firstly, I call the pedal which has two beaters and two pedal mechanisms, Double bass pedals. Although, other people call these things Double KICK pedals. What do you call them? Also I've just recently bought a pair of AXIS double bass pedals and they're awesome. What brand do you think is the best and what do you have?

the only problem with axis peals is that they break quite easily, other then that they are some of the better pedals you can buy.
they are called double-bass pedals:
bass drums were once referred to as kick drums because you use a foot pedal with them, but its like saying "trapkit" instead of drumset.
