I recently transcribed Sleep (a choral piece) to marimba and I am in need of a fat sounding mallet on the lower register of the marimba. The reason why I'm asking is because I've had some bad luck from blindly purchasing mallets for that part of the marimba with the end result of getting a washed and fuzzy sound. Any help is greatly appreciated
