Hey. I would like to buy a decent drumset but I am not the richest person in the world. I was looking for something that is good and will last long. I want a beginner set and am looking for something between $200-$500. I saw the pulse sets and they looked awesome but I don`t know how good they are. I was wondering if the pulse sets are any good for beginners and money wise, and if they aren`t what is the best set for a beginner with my money amounts and where can I find them on the web? Please help me thank you.

Hey thanks for the info. I have a few more questions though. Is titan the best brand on national music supply? I also would like to know what is the best brand on musicians friend. Is the best one on musicians friend better or worse then the best one on national music supply? I would like to know beacuse national music supply has shipping charges of almost $100 and items over $299 on musicians friend are free shipping, so i would rather get one from there. Thanks.

just so you know the drum sets on musicians friend do not have free shipping because of the extra size and weight
although a very few do but most of those are more expensive

I just checked on Verve drums. They`re cheap and I`ve head some people say they`re realty good, but I`ve heard say that the finish melts if you leave it in the car too long and the inner ply to the drums falls off just by being hit.
