Hey yall I`m new to the drums and I was wondering if anyone had any tips for me

Tanks dude, even though drumline was a good movie, check out were the main dude, is drummin somethin hard, well the camera is just on his hands, so it looks cheesy.

My advice to you would be to not try and do rolls right away. When I first started playing the drums I really had to discipline myself to not try and be professional. And it can be frustrating when you want to do something but don`t know how to do it. So just be patient and start with learning simple beats and then after that simple rolls and go from there.

sure the camera was on his hands the whole time in the movie, but they werent really nick cannons hands, and if they were, then they were dumb and didnt want to show the strain in his face he DIDNT have. and learn the rudiments, then the hybrids, theyre so much fun.
