I am going to start percussion or "drummng" this summer (wich is in less then a week), and I need some tips because I plan to play for my school next year. What to do? How to do It? stuff like that.

My suggestion to getting started would just to start banging on a drum set! Also, if you really want to learn some complicated beats and such, look to buy a dvd or vhs off of EBAY. You can pick up a "lesson-like" Dvd for under $30, and this should help you to get started. You should be able to pick up some pretty descent tips from some of them. www.ebay.com (drum dvd)
