hey.. i want to learn snare.. but i dont want to take lessons for it because i already have instrument lessons for piano violin and sax.... i know how to read rythms and all that jazz.. but how do you know wich stick to hit the drum with or where to hit it.. or how to hold it..does anyone have suggestions?thanks in advance

I am a snare drum player. To hold the drumsticks, hold the drumsticks 2/3 to the bottom.You always hit the drum in the middle. Som music has sticking on the bottom. It might say RLRR LRLL.
