My band director is having her afterschool drumline program starting up again real soon and I want to make it this year to at least quads instead of being and alternate for cymbols.

Does anyone know what most band directors look for in a drummer?

She tells me all I need to be able to do is keep a steady beat and keep my part straight from the other drums.

That is what I messed up on last year.....any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

are you a drummer? can you read music? can you crab walk? and can you stand for long periods of time with those tenors on your chest? than if so them dont worry about it!!!!!!!!!
