For two years I`ve been playing snare for my highschool marching band, but next season, I`m hoping to play the quads because we don`t have anyone to play it next year.

I came across this book called "Quad Logic" By Bill Bachman, and I was wondering, since he plays with only one spock drum, does his book only teaches you to play with only one, and not two?

Answers would be appreciated.

hey, well i`ve been think`n about get`n that book. anyways: one spock drum is typical, if you play with more than one, well it could be hard to find any sheet music that applys to you. but that`s the beauty of musicianship, you can create and edit music in any way you want

if you`re new to quads, you should be getting modern multi tenor techniques by julie davila first. Bill`s book is for intermediate and up.

If you have 2 spocks.. you can use one spock per hand, play around or just take one out
