When u guys say tenor..do yall mean the tenor drum..or like the quads or somthing. because i play the bass in my highsckool pep band...and i like it. only it hurts my tummy and back. but anyway! starting last friday..i played the tenor drum. and i love it.
and marching band tryouts are comming up..and im hoping i will make snare...or tenor.

my best friend is the only girl drum player i think in 6th grade and she is better than almost everyboy player...

i was forced to play cymbals when i was a freshman just because i was a girl! i was allowed to try out for tenors when i was a sophomore, and all i can say is that i`ve been rockin` the drumline ever since!! people from all over the area where i live now know who i am just because of my talents on the DrumLine! i`ve been to competitions and been singled out as much better than the rest of my band.( p.s. i`m the only one who can handle the tenors @ my school!!) i`ve played tenors for two years now, and next year i`m going to be Drumcaptain!!! I love the tenors and still plan on playing them next year and even when i go to college. so,all i have to say to those who stuck me on cymbals is...HAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Hey, I am a snare drummer chic just to let you know that there are alot of us if you know where to look. I have alot of friends who are snare drummers and about to try out for scholarships to Northwestern State University Band Programs on our snares. I think we really have a shot. Just to let ya know, we are out here. And shotting to take our skills to the next level....college competition!!!

TENORS are hardcore!!! they are no doubt the GREATEST instrument in marching band.period. and on that note, they have a lead tenor player at SDSU that rocks... they dont even let the lead snare player keep taps wen marching, she does! do TENORS, `07!!!!!!!!!!!!

hi, im 12 and i am a girl drummer. I`m from australia and i dont think we have marching bands at our school. Though last year i was in my school band for guitar. I only recently got my kit (Yamaha stage custom) last week. I try to teach my brother to play but he cant do it.
